استيقظ الجميع في مزرعه عم عثمان على صوت الطيور وهى تصيح وتصرخ فقد دخل الثعلب حظيرة الطيور 

جرى عم عثمان وراء الثعلب وجرت الحيوانات تساعده اما الجمل بازل فلم يتحرك وظل في مكانه 

فر الثعلب هاربا وحزن الجميع على ما فعله بالطيور فقد جرح بعضها وكاد ان ياكلها 

ذهب الكلب الى بازل يعاتبه على تكاسله وعدم تحركه للقبض على الثعلب كما فعلت حيوانات المزرعه 

حزن بازل منكلام الكلب ولكنه قال في نفسه نعم يجب ان اكون متعاونا مع اصدقائي 

وفي يوم من الايام تسلل الثعلب للمزرعه وراه بازل فقال له اهلا بك ايها الثعلب لا تخف منى فانا معجب بك لانك حيوان ذكي وسريع ولكنك لست قويا مثلي 

غضب الثعلب من كلام الجمل بازل بل انا اقوى منك ومن غيرك 

ضحك بازل وقال ان كنت قويا حقا فهل تستطيع ان تجرني وانا نائم ولو لمسافه قليله 

اغتر الثعلب بنفسه وقال حسنا ساجرك لمسافه بعيدة وبسرعه ربط الثعلب ذيله بذيل بازل وحاول جره

وقف بازل بسرعه فاصبح الثعلب معلقا في ذيله وظل يصرخ ويصيح حتى جاء عم عثمان وتجمعت الحيوانات 

ضحك عم عثمان مما فعله بازل بالثعلب وامسك به وضربه ففرحت الحيوانات وشكرت بازل على تعاونه وذكائه
