قصة العملاق وقرية الأقزام 

قرية الأقزام قرية صغيرة أهلها قصار القامة لكنهم كانوا ينعمون بالسعادة والاستقرار وظلوا على هذا الحال حتى ظهر في القرية عملاق ضخم مخيف يجوب ارجاء القرية في الليلة التى يبلغ فيها القمر تمامه من كل شهر ويصيح بصوت مخيف قائلا : أنا العملاق الجبار 

قوتي تبلغ قوة القطار فمن أراد النجاة من بطشي وغضبي فليحضر لى نصف ما لديه من المال والطعام 

لم تجد الاقزام حيلة للنجاة سوى تلبية اوامر ذلك العملاق ، ظل الوضع على هذا الحال حتى جاء قزم جديد للاقامة بالقرية يدعى حسان وعندما علم حسان امر هذا العملاق اجتمع مع اهل القرية 

بعد صلاة الجمعة وصاح في غضب شديد قائلا : كيف ايها الناس تكدحون وتعملون طول الشهر وفي نهايته تلقون بنصف ما رزقكم الله لذلك الظالم المتكبر فأجابه الحلاق حمدان : نحن اقزام لا طول لنا ولا قوة ونخشى ان نكون جثث صغيرة بين ايد ذلك العملاق 

فقال له حسان : اعلم يارجل ان كل ظالم يراه الناس عملاقا قويا هو في منتهى الضغف ومقاومته في غاية السهولة واليسر 

فقال حمدان: اذن عليك التفكير كيف نتخلص منه ونحن ننفذ باذن الله ، سكت حسان قليلا ثم قال : افكر ان نحفر خندقا عميقا في الطريق الذي يأتي منه 

ثم نغطيه بالحطب والاغصان الضعيفة الهشة وبذلك سوف يسقط فيه باذن الله ونتخلص منه ومن شره ، اعجب الاقزام بهذه الفكرة وسارعوا الى تنفيذها مرت الايام وجاء صباح الليلة المتممة للقمر بذلك الشهر واستيقظ اهالى القرية على صياح العملاق الظالم وهو يقول : اغيثوني .... اغيثوني 

اخرجوني من هذه الحفرة المظلمة العميقة ، التف جميع الاقزام حول الخندق ونظر احد الاقزام للعملاق قائلا : سبحان مغير الاحوال بالامس القريب كنت تمد عينيك لموضع قدمك لكى ترى الرهبة والخوف في اعيننا واليوم نحن ننظر لموضع اقدامنا لكى نرى نفس الرهبة والخوف تملاء عينيك ايها العملاق الضعيف 

فصاح العملاق قائلا : انتم من اوقعتموني في هذا الفخ ايها الاقزام ؟ الم تعلموا اننى انا العملاق الجبار الذي تبلغ قوته قوة القطار 

فقاطعه حسان قائلا : حتى وان بلغت قوتك قوة القطار ، فالقطار يقع ويهلك عندما ينحدر عن قضبانه المحددة له 

وانت وقعت وهلكت عندما انحدرت عن طريق الله وقصدت طريق الظلم والعصيان ، رد العملاق قائلا : لا لا يجب ان تكون هذه النهايه نهايتي انا ،  فقال له حسان : بل هذه هى نهايتك ايها العملاق وهى كذلك نهاية كل ظالم امام اعين المظلوم وهذا هو المصير المؤكد في الدنيا والاخره

The dwarves did not find a trick to survive except to fulfill the orders of that giant, the situation remained in this state until a new dwarf came to reside in the village named Hassan, and when Hassan learned about this giant's matter, he met with the people of the village

After the Friday prayer, he shouted in anger, saying: How do you people toil and work throughout the month, and at the end of the month you will receive half of what God has blessed you for that arrogant oppressor, and the barber answered Hamdan: We are dwarves, we have no length or strength, and we fear that we will be small bodies between the hands of that giant

Hassan said to him: I know, man, that every oppressor people see as a strong giant is extremely weak, and his resistance is very easy and easy.

Hamdan said: So you have to think how to get rid of it while we are carrying out, God willing, Hassan fell silent a little, then said: I am thinking that we dig a deep trench in the way from which it comes

Then we cover it with wood and weak and fragile branches, and thus it will fall into it, God willing, and get rid of it and its evil. The dwarves admired this idea and quickly implemented it. Days passed by and the morning of the night completing the moon that month came and the people of the village woke up to the shouting of the unjust giant and he said: Help me .... Help me.

Take me out of this deep dark hole, all the dwarves wrapped around the trench and one of the dwarves looked at the giant, saying: Glory be to the change of circumstances. Yesterday, you were extending your eyes to the position of your feet to see the dread and fear in our eyes and today we look at the position of our feet to see the same fear and fear in your eyes, O weak giant

The giant shouted, "You dwarves who have made me fall into this trap?" Did you not know that I am the mighty giant that is as strong as a train?

Hassan interrupted him, saying: Even if your strength reaches the strength of the train, the train falls and perishes when it descends from its designated tracks.

And you fell and perished when you descended through God and intended the path of injustice and disobedience, the giant responded saying: No, this end should not be my end, Hassan said to him: Rather, this is your end, O giant, and it is also the end of every oppressor before the eyes of the oppressed, and this is the certain fate in life and hereafter
