الورد الطبيعي دايمًا بيبقى مرتبط بذكرى حلوة في حياتنا، زي بوكيه فرح، هدية عيد ميلاد، أو مناسبة خاصة من شخص غالي. علشان كده ناس كتير بتحب تحتفظ بالورد لأطول فترة ممكنة من غير ما يفقد شكله أو جماله. فيه طرق بسيطة وسهلة نقدر نستخدمها في البيت لتجفيف الورد والحفاظ عليه بشكل جميل.

أول طريقة هي التجفيف بالهواء الطبيعي، ودي من أسهل وأشهر الطرق. بنختار ورد يكون متفتح ومش ذابل، ونقص السيقان لطول مناسب مع إزالة الأوراق علشان ما تحتفظش بالرطوبة. بعد كده بنربط الورد مع بعض بشريط مطاطي ونعلقه مقلوب في مكان جاف وجيد التهوية بعيد عن الرطوبة. بنسيبه من أسبوعين لتلاتة لحد ما ينشف تمامًا، وبعدها ممكن نرش عليه مثبت شعر خفيف بدون رائحة علشان يحافظ على شكله.
The first method is air drying, which is one of the easiest and most common techniques. Choose fresh, fully bloomed flowers and trim the stems while removing the leaves to prevent moisture retention. Tie the flowers together with a rubber band and hang them upside down in a dry, well-ventilated space. Leave them for two to three weeks until completely dry, then lightly spray with unscented hairspray to preserve their shape.
الطريقة التانية هي استخدام مواد مجففة زي السيليكا جل أو البوراكس أو دقيق الذرة. بنقص السيقان ونحط الورد في وعاء محكم، وبعد كده نغطيه بالمادة المجففة بحيث تدخل بين البتلات. بنقفل الوعاء كويس ونسيبه لمدة أسبوع أو أسبوعين. المواد دي بتمتص الرطوبة من الورد وبتحافظ على شكله متناسق.
The second method involves using drying agents such as silica gel, borax, or cornmeal. Trim the stems and place the flowers in an airtight container. Cover them completely with the drying substance, ensuring it fills the spaces between petals. Seal the container and leave it for one to two weeks. These materials absorb moisture while maintaining the flower’s natural form.
فيه كمان طريقة الجلسرين، ودي بتخلي الورد يحتفظ بمرونته شوية. بنخلط جزء جلسرين مع ضعفه ماء، ونحط فيه الورد لفترة معينة لحد ما يمتص المحلول. بعد كده بنطلعه ونسيبه ينشف على ورق. الطريقة دي بتخلي شكل الورد طبيعي أكتر ومش ناشف قوي.
Another option is the glycerin method, which helps flowers retain some flexibility. Mix one part glycerin with two parts water and place the flowers in the solution for a period of time until they absorb it. Afterward, remove them and let them dry on paper. This technique keeps the flowers looking more natural and less brittle.
طريقة الرمل تعتبر بسيطة جدًا برضه. بنحط طبقة رمل في وعاء، ونثبت الورد فيه بشكل قائم، وبعدين نغطيه بالرمل بالكامل. بنسيبه في مكان بارد لمدة أسبوعين أو تلاتة، وبعدها بنطلعه بحرص وننظفه من الرمل.
Sand drying is also a simple method. Place a layer of sand in a container, position the flowers upright, and carefully cover them completely with more sand. Leave the container in a cool place for two to three weeks, then gently remove and clean the flowers.
الميكروويف طريقة سريعة جدًا، لكن لازم تتم بحذر. بنستخدم وعاء مناسب للميكروويف ونحط خليط من السيليكا أو البوراكس مع دقيق الذرة، ونغطي الورد بالخليط. بندخل الوعاء دقيقة واحدة بس، ولو محتاج وقت إضافي نزوده دقيقة كمان. بعد كده نسيبه يوم كامل علشان نتأكد إنه جف تمامًا.
The microwave method is very fast but requires caution. Use a microwave-safe container and cover the flowers with a mixture of silica gel, borax, and cornmeal. Heat for about one minute, adding another minute if needed. Let the flowers rest for a full day to ensure they are completely dry.
وأخيرًا طريقة الكتب، ودي من أقدم وأسهل الطرق. بنحط الورد بين منديلين ورق داخل كتاب سميك، ونقفل الكتاب ونسيبه حوالي أسبوعين. لو لسه مشفش تمامًا، ممكن نغير المناديل ونسيبه فترة إضافية. الطريقة دي مناسبة أكتر للورد الصغير أو البتلات.
Finally, the book-pressing method is one of the oldest and easiest techniques. Place the flowers between two paper tissues inside a thick book, close it carefully, and leave it for about two weeks. If not fully dry, replace the tissues and leave it longer. This method works best for small flowers or petals.
للحفاظ على الورد المجفف لأطول وقت ممكن، لازم يتحط في مكان بارد بعيد عن الشمس والرطوبة والحرارة العالية، علشان يفضل محتفظ بشكله ولونه.
To preserve dried roses for as long as possible, store them in a cool place away from sunlight, humidity, and heat so they maintain their shape and color.
