مَهَا وَالطَّرِيقُ
فُوجِئَتْ الأُمُّ بِعَوْدَةِ ابْنَتِهَا مَهَا مِنَ النُّزْهَةِ مُبَكّرًا
وَتُمْسِكُ بِقَدَمِهَا وَتَتَاَلْمُ.

سَأَلَتْهَا أُمَّهَا عَنْ سَبَب هَذَا الألم، فَقَالَتْ
لَهَا اقْتَرَحْتُ عَلَى صَديقاتي أَنْ نَعْبُرَ طَرِيقًا

قَالَتْ الأُمُّ : لا تَغْضَبِي مِنْ صَدِيقَاتِكِ بَلْ مِنْ
نَفْسِك أَيْتُهَا الْعَنيدَةُ دَائِمًا، وَاعْلَمِي أَنَّ مَنْ
يَتَمَسْكُ ُبرَأْيه الْخَطَأ لَنْ يَجدَ أَبَدًا مَنْ يَتَفقُ
مَعَهُ .

اعْتَذَرَتْ مَهَا لأُمِّهَا، وَوَعَدَتْهَا بِعَدَمِ الْعِنَادِ مَرَّةً
أُخْرَى، وَقَالَتْ لَهَا : لَكِ كُلِّ الْحَقِّ يَا أُمِّي، فَعنَادي
أَبْعَدَ عَنِّي كَثِيرًا مِنْ صَدِيقَاتِي.
