فَيَشْتَريَ مِنْهُ الْخَسَ وَالْجَزَرَ .
وفي يَوْم عَادَ أرْنُوبُ مِنَ الْعَمَل فَسَمِعَ صَدِيقَهُ فَلافيلو
يَصْرُخ لأن بيْتَهُ قَدْ سَرَقَهُ اللصُّ.
يَصْرُخ لأن بيْتَهُ قَدْ سَرَقَهُ اللصُّ.
وَعِنْدَمَا مَرَّ عَلَى دَبدوب وَجَدَهُ يَصِيحُ صَارحًا: اللص
سَرَق بضَاعَتي وَلَم يُبق لي شيئا
فكر أَرْنُوبُ.. أَنَّ اللَّصَّ َلابُدْ سَيَأْتِي لِسَرقَةِ بَيْتِهِ وَأَنْ
عَلَيْهِ أن يُفكر في حيلة للإيقاع به، فقام بوضع الطعام
فَوْقَ سَطح منزله حَتَّى يَرَاهُ اللصُّ.
ثُمَّ صَنَعَ حَفْرَةً في سَقْفِ البَيْتِ وَوَضَعَ تَحتَهَا
سندوقا خشبيًّـا
تَسَلَّلَ اللصُ تَعْلُوبُ إلى بيت أَرْنُوب وعندما حاول
سرقة الطعام سقط في الصندوق فأمسك به أرنوب
عَاشَ الْجَمِيعُ في سَلَام بَعْدَ أَنْ قَرَرَ الشَّرْطِيُّ كُوكِي أَنْهُ
سَيَسْهَرُ عَلَى حِمَايَةِ البَلَدَةِ مِنَ اللصوص طوال الليل.
Every morning, Arnoub used to go to the greengrocer’s teddy bear.
So he buys lettuce and carrots from him.
One day, Arnoub returned from work, and his friend Flavio heard
He screams because his house has been stolen by a thief.
When he passed by Dabdoub, he found him shouting: “The thief!”
He stole my goods and left me nothing
Arnoub thought... that the thief would surely come to steal his house, and that...
He had to think of a trick to catch him, so he put the food down

Then he made a hole in the roof of the house and placed it under it.
