بطُوطُ يُحبُّ الاِسْتِكشَافَ وَالتَّعَلَّمَ، فَيَشْرِدُ بَعِيدًا وَكَانَتْ
أمهُ بَطُوطَةُ تُحذِّرُهُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى لَا يَبْتَعِدَ وَيَضِيعَ.
قَالَ بَطُوطُ لِنَفْسِهِ : لَا بُدَّ أَنْ أَعْرِفَ مِنْ أَيْنَ تَأْتِي هَذِهِ
الأَلْوَانُ؟ فَمَشَى بَعِيدًا حَتَّى غَابَ عَنْ أُمه .

أَنَّ مَصْدَرَهُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ فَهَيَّا نَذْهَبُ إِلَى الدُّلْفِين لنَسْأَلَهُ.
ذَهَبَ الثَّلَاثَةُ إِلَى الْبُحَيْرَةِ لِيَسْأَلُوا الدُّلْفِينَ الَّذِي قَالَ:
لَهُمْ لَا أَدْرِي مَنْ أَيْنَ تَأْتِي، فَعَادَ بَطوط إلَى الْبَيْتِ وَأَخْبَرَ
أُمَّهُ بِمَا حَدَثَ.
