The story of Wael and winter
Wael: Happy New Year, Ghanem. Winter is around the corner
Ghanem, surprised: Does winter make you happy, too?
Wael: Of course, it separates the family from gathering, talking and creating intimacy
Ghanem sarcastically: What about feeling cold and having severe colds and taking medicine?
Wael: You must catch colds, Ghanem, you and your ilk, because you do not hide in bed and do not expose your body to fresh air, and this is a mistake. You must move and go wherever you want as long as you have, thank God, heavy clothes that protect you from the cold and you have an umbrella that protects you from the rain, so what prevents you?
What do you do if you are like the children whose circumstances force them to take to the street to do some work and they do not have heavy clothes or umbrellas?
Ghanem: I can't believe it
Wael: Rather, believe that it is the truth, and I will take you and walk together in the streets and markets to see for yourself when winter comes.
Winter came and it got cold, and Wael asked his father to go to the market to buy some food and to take his brother Ghanem with him.
Ghanem noticed that these children were wearing light clothes, but they were moving and carrying goods. Ghanem admired these children and kept watching them from afar and was amazed at their bravery. It started raining from the sky, and he stood under one of the balconies to avoid the rain falling over his head. that
After the rain decreased a little, Ghanem opened his umbrella and did the same, and they started preparing to go back to the house, and Ghanem kept wandering thinking about this scene that he saw.
And he says to himself and says: These children work in this difficult weather, and I wear heavy clothes and cover with many blankets, and despite that, I complain about the winter season.
When they arrived home, Ghanem opened the wardrobe and collected the heavy clothes that he did not use and put them on the bed. Then he brought a large bag and put these clothes in it.
At these moments, his mother entered him and asked him, "What are you doing, O Ghanem?" Ghanem said to her, “With your permission, mother, can I give these clothes to children who work in the market and do not have heavy clothes to protect them from the cold?” The mother said: “I agree that you give them to them. May God help you in doing good.”
