وذات يوم جاءت فرصة عمل في دولة اخرى لظريف فاوصى مدربا اخر برعاية رئيف ومتابعته في السيرك وبعدما سافر ظريف اساء المدرب الجديد معاملة رئيف
لم يتحمل رئيف سوء معاملة المدرب الجديد الذي كان يجيعه ويضربه احيانا، فغافل حراس السيرك يوما وهرب منهم الىاقرب غابة ليعيش فيها
كانت الغابة خالية من الحيوانات الكبيرة فلم يكن فيها اسود ولا نمور ولا ذئاب ولكن كان بها مجموعة من الفئران والارانب والقطط والغزلان الصغيرة
علمت الحيوانات بوجود الفيل فخافت وكان الغزال هو امير هذه الغابة وسيدها فدعا الجميع الى اجتماع عاجل لبحث مشكلة وجود الفيل الضخم في غابتهم الصغيرة
في الاجتماع قال القط البري: لابد ان نطرد الفيل من غابتنا ان حجمه الضخم يخيفنا ويقلقنا فربما داس على احدنا باقدامه الثقيلة وربما ضرب احدنا بخرطومه القوى
اجمع الحاضرون كلهم على ضرورة طرد الفيل وابعاده عن الغابة ووكلوا هذه المهمه للقط البري الذي كان اكثرهم غضبا من وجود الفيل في غابتهم
علم القط البري ان الفيل رئيفا يعيش تحت شجرة عالية في الغابة فتوجه اليه ليبلغه قرار الحيوانات ويطلب منه ان يغادر الغابة الى اى مكان اخر او الى اى غابة اخرى
عندما وصل القط البري قرب الشجرة فاصابت صاعقة الشجرة، فاسرع القط ليتفادى وقوعها عليه، ولكن حركته جاءت متأخرة فانحشر بين اغصان الشجرة التى سقطت
عبثا حاول القط ان يخلص نفسه فاخذ يستغيث وينادى اصحابه لينقذوه فلم يحضر احد فايقن انه هالك لا محاله وبينما هو كذلك سمع صوت اقدام الفيل تقترب منه
ازداد خوف القط واشتد رعبه وهو يتصور كيف سيسحقه الفيل بقدميه الثقيلتين فلما وصل الفيل تأمل منظر القط لحظات وتذكر كيف كان يرفع الاطفال في السيرك
تقدم الفيل ورفع بخرطومه القوى الشجرة وحرر القط ثم اسرع الفيل ورفع القط بخرطومه من الارض ووضعه على ظهره ثم سار به حتى وصل الى اصحابه
رأت الحيوانات منظر القط وهو على ظهر الفيل فاسرعوا اليه فحكى لهم كيف انقذه الفيل من الهلاك فشكروا الفيل ورحبوا به وعاش الفيل رئيف بينهم في سعادة وهناء
عاد ظريف من الخارج فاخذ يبحث عن رئيف حتى وجده وكان رئيف قد علم الحيوانات ما تعلمه في السيرك فذهبوا جميعا الى السيرك مع ظريف واشتركوا في العاب السيرك

At the meeting, the wild cat said: We must expel the elephant from our forest because its huge size frightens us and worries us, so perhaps it stepped on one of us with its heavy feet and perhaps hit one of us with his strong hose
All of the attendees agreed on the necessity of expelling the elephant and removing it from the forest, and assigned this task to the wild cat who was most angry at the presence of the elephant in their forest
The wild cat learned that the elephant was living under a tall tree in the forest, so he went to him to inform him of the animals' decision and ask him to leave the forest to any other place or to any other forest
When the wild cat arrived near the tree and the lightning strike hit the tree, the cat hurried to avoid it falling on it, but its movement came late, so it got stuck between the branches of the tree that had fallen
In vain the cat tried to save himself, so he started crying out and calling his friends to save him, but no one came, so he was sure that he was inexorable, and while he was like that he heard the sound of the elephant's feet approaching him
The cat’s fear increased and his fear intensified as he imagined how the elephant would crush him with his heavy feet. When the elephant arrived, he contemplated the cat’s sight for a few moments and remembered how he used to raise the children in the circus
The elephant advanced and raised the tree with its strong hose and released the cat. Then the elephant hurried and lifted the cat with its hose from the ground and placed it on its back and then walked with it until it reached its owners
The animals saw the sight of the cat on the back of the elephant, so they hurried to him, and he told them how the elephant saved him from destruction, so they thanked the elephant and welcomed him, and the elephant lived happily among them.
Zarif came back from the outside, so he looked for Raif until he found him. Raif had taught the animals what he had learned in the circus, so they all went to the circus with Zarif and participated in the circus games.
